The Wilderness Institute brings over 30 years of experience providing customized outdoor education, team-building and leadership programs.
The Wilderness Institute provides Wilderness Education, Training and Advocacy. We specialize in adventure-based team-building programs for corporate teams, schools, and other organizations. Our outdoor recreation programs, activities and experiential events include eco-tourism, outdoor education, adventure seminars, wilderness survival, rock climbing and ropes courses for the public and special groups (including people with disabilities, military veterans and youth-at-risk) as well as Mobile Rock Climbing Wall events.
Through a series of adventurous and challenging outdoor activities, like Challenge Ropes Courses, Rock Climbing and Wilderness Adventures, you and your group will learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills that will take your organization to new levels of success.
Other services include our AdventurePro Consulting in Challenge Ropes Course and Adventure Programs and training in Crisis Management and Intervention, First Responder training scenarios and instructor training seminars.
♦ We are located in Colorado Front Range foothills at Peaceful Valley Resort and Conference Center where Roosevelt National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park become our outdoor classrooms!
♦ And, in California's Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area where it's many county, state, and national park sites serve as the locations for our field studies programs and community outreach events.
♦ Our Mobile Programs allow us to provide a custom "Wilderness Adventure" in many other locations for your group upon request.
